Placing an Order

By accessing or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  1. When you register on our website, you will be required to provide a contact email address and password. You are responsible for all sessions and transactions taken under these details. You should keep your password safe and not disclose it to anyone. You should change it immediately if you feel it has been compromised.
  2. When you order with us via our online checkout process, you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement with details of your products and price at the time of purchase. However, this does not mean that we have accepted your order.
  3. Our acceptance of an order takes place when we dispatch the order and payment has been received for your order. We must receive full payment for the products that you have ordered before your order can be accepted. We may refuse an order on the following accounts:(a) where a product is not available.(b) where payment has been cancelled or authorisation been refused.(c) if there has been a product or pricing error.
  4. Lighthouse Publications can withdraw from any contract due to any obvious errors regarding the products for sale on the website. Once this inaccuracy is discovered we will contact you as soon as possible by email, to inform you of the situation and find out if you wish to continue with your order at the amended price, accept any time delay or whether you want to cancel the transaction.
  5. Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice. All product prices and delivery charges are shown in UK pound sterling.
  6. We accept payment by Paypal and charge the card, in full, when the customer places an order online through our website.  If we are unable to fulfill the order we will refund the full amount back to your Paypal account.

Delivery of Goods

  1. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted and in any event within 30 days of dispatch of the order.  All delivery times on the website are estimates only, based on availability and post office or courier delivery services. However, we will aim to dispatch as soon as possible after processing the payment for the products.
  2. Lighthouse Publications shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
  3. We update our availability information regularly but occasionally a product may run out between updates.
  4. The dispatch and delivery times shown are approximate and delays can sometimes occur. Delivery times are based on Working days (Monday-Friday, excluding Public Holidays).
  5. When placing an order, the customer may request that the parcel is left with a neighbour or in a safe place, in which case, it will be left at the customer’s own risk.

Refunds & Cancellations

  1. In the rare event that you are not completely satisfied with a purchase that you made from Lighthouse Publications, you may return the item. When sending back any product, the customer is responsible for the goods until Lighthouse Publications receives them.
  2. If you wish to cancel your order:a. You may withdraw your order for products by notifying us by email …. @eisone.co.uk before we have dispatched the goods to you.b. Where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning the products to us at any time up to the end of fifteen working days after having received the goods. Return the goods to Lighthouse Publications return address (above).  The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you, at your own risk and at your own cost.  Include the reason for the return, your order number and your email address or telephone number.  We may withhold refund until the product(s) are returned (or evidence or return is provided by you).
  3. Upon receipt of the goods we will give you a full refund of the amount paid or exchange it for credit for a new purchase. The rights to return the goods to us will not apply in the event that the product has been used or removed from its sealed plastic envelope.
  4. Lighthouse Publications shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage of any kind, which the customer or a third party may suffer by reason of us declining or cancelling your order.
  5. If the customer is unhappy with a product for any reason, they should contact Lighthouse Publications as soon as possible (Contact details above).The provisions of these Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Liability

  1. If the products that Lighthouse Publications delivers are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, Lighthouse Publications shall have no liability to you unless you notify Lighthouse Publications of the problem in writing, using our online Customer Contact form within 15 working days of the delivery of goods in question or to the above stated address for Lighthouse Publications.
  2. Lighthouse Publications will strive to arrange delivery for delivery date agreed upon, but cannot accept liability for late delivery as Lighthouse Publications has no control over that process once it is in the hands of the postal services or carrier.
  3. If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which they were dispatched to you, Lighthouse Publications shall have no liability to you unless you notify Lighthouse Publications in writing at the contact address (or via our Customer Contact Form) of the problem within 40 days of the date on which the goods were dispatched to you.
  4. Lighthouse Publications shall not be held liable for any consequential loss to the customer, whether this arises from breach of contract or any other way. Bespoke Bakery’s total liability for any claim howsoever arising shall not exceed the price paid by the customer for the goods supplied.
  5. Lighthouse Publications will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem you notify to Lighthouse Publications under this condition and shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question.
  6. All information and specifications relating to the resources produced by a publisher are approximate and all errors on the website may be corrected without any liability.

Cancellation by us

  1. If Lighthouse Publications has insufficient stock to deliver the products ordered by you, we will notify you as soon as possible and any sum paid will be re-credited to you. The refund will be made as soon as possible.
  2. We will endeavour to provide a suitable replacement or offer the opportunity to join a waiting list on a particular item however we are not obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
  3.  We do endeavour to bring our customers the best value and service we can, however stocks are sometimes limited and subject to availability.

  1. Lighthouse Publications operates a complaints handling procedure which is used to try to resolve disputes when they first arise.   2. Access to this Website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control.

Governing Law

  1. These terms and conditions and any contract between us are governed by English Law and we both agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Statutory Rights

  1. Nothing in these conditions will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods. For further information about your statutory rights contact your local authority Trading Standards department or Citizen’s Advice Bureau.
  2. The customer’s statutory rights are not affected by any statement contained in this document or on our website.
  3. By placing an order with Lighthouse Publications either through our website, over the telephone, or by any other medium, you are agreeing to these terms.
