Jun 09 in Proverbs

Ch.18 warns against certain dangers.

1) Danger of independence: doing your own thing without listening to advice from anyone…

2) Danger of a ‘know it all’ attitude, willingly ignorant…a fool! There is so much knowledge of God for us to discover… wisdom says get to know Him!

3) Danger of partiality (only leads to injustice and favouritism): be no respecter of persons.

4) Danger of gossip

5) Danger of laziness (not only non-productive but destructive) make the most of your time!

6) Danger of being offended. Forgive … apologize if its you, reconcile!

7) Danger of pride: God will only raise up the humble.

God is your place of safety, your strong tower, your refuge from the storm, your peace, your salvation, your provider, your healer, Mighty God!! Whatever the problem, when we run to Him…we are safe! There is something that will have nudged you as you read, take it to Him today…one day, one step at a time…for He is changing you from glory into glory because, He loves you!
