Proverbs 5

May 15 in Proverbs

God does not give commandments to harm you but to protect you. Prov.5 warns against the immoral woman. She appears good to eyes and sweet to the taste but has a sting in her tail. Sin always comes at a personal price and opens the door to Satan who can demand his payment at any time. Remember Eve looking at the forbidden fruit if you read in Genesis; it LOOKED good and TASTED good and thought she had got away with it… Satan true to his nature took their life… no longer did they walk with God … there was now a separation and a price to be paid. Pay attention to God’s word and you will be safe and protected.
